Fixed Price Development

We quote a fixed price for the development work including staged payments where appropriate. We commit to a delivery date and a list of deliverables. You own the copyright on anything we design for you. We supply you with all source code, make files, drawings etc.

Daily Rate

We agree a daily rate for each man-day worked on your project. We invoice you at the end of each month for work completed and deliver to you as required. You own the copyright on anything we design for you. We supply you with all source code, make files, drawings etc.

Shared Risk Development

In this development model we work out, in advance, a specification for the final product including an agreed price for the final product. We charge a fraction of the normal cost for the development work but Claritech Ltd retains copyright on all our design work. You are supplied with final product and software in executable form only. When you sell more devices or software to your end-customer we supply you at the agreed price. This method of development allows us to help you top develop a product at lower cost and we share the risk (and the benefits) between us.

Which Option is Best for You

Choosing your development option depends on your company's attitude to risk and your development budget. If you have enough development budget to cover the full development costs then the cheapest option is normally the "Daily Rate" route this is because our "Fixed Price Development" costs normally include a contingency in case something goes wrong. However if you take the "Daily Rate" option then you take the risk that the work takes more time than estimated. If you don't want to take this week then the "Fixed Price Development" option is right for you.

If you do not have enough development budget to cover the full cost of the project then choose the "Shared Risk" option.
