We developed two vehicle data logger models for a UK customer. The data
logger hardware includes:
- Speed input
- Rpm input
- Up to 18 digital inputs (for indicators, blue lights etc)
- Up to 8 analog inputs
- Fuel flow inputs
- Compact FLASH card interface for data storage (Compact FLASH card is then
removed from the logger and transferred to the PC)
- RS485 for GPS add-on module
- RS485 for calibration and data collection via optional GSM module
- Communications link implementing Dallas iButton 1-wire communications for
driver identifications
